Here is a collection of photographs across the internet that seem extremely suited as desktop wallpapers – they’re much better than those generic ones you can find on wallpaper sites anyway. What I personally look for in a good wallpaper is its sense of mood and lighting – it doesn’t make sense to have a wallpaper that competes for attention with your desktop icons, right?
After a whole life (up to now, that is) hunting for the right wallpaper that won’t give me a migraine reading icon texts, I’ve decided to make it easy for the rest of you out there who share the same taste and sentiments as I do about messy wallpapers. I shall also go on to assume that you’re not a complete idiot, so if the photos are too big, find a way to resize them to your screen resolution on your own.
Do note that I do not know the owners of these works in person, and I do not mean to infringe any kind of copyright. I merely feature works out of pure respect for the author and the quality of work, and will be more than glad to credit my sources. Unfortunately, there are some photographs/wallpapers that I chanced upon during random Google searches, and some of these I’ve either neglected to credit, or weren’t credited in the first place. If the work is yours, feel free to drop me an email telling me so, preferably with links pointing to your work (I need evidence). If your stuff is featured and you want it removed (why!), tell me as well at email@example.com.
